The Three Musketeers by Barrett
Local writer and actor, Barrett, needed some promotional materials for the first stage reading of their new play, The Three Musketeers. Her version brings new color to the original story by bringing modern language and scenes to the stage.
We worked together on the idea of taking traditional black and white book illustrations and adding a twist of making them come to life with modern patterns and colors.
Since this was a staged reading for a small audience, who was in the audience counted. While the reading was open to the public, Barret had a curated list of people from the theatre industry they wanted to invite, thinking they would be interested in producing the play for their respective theatre houses. We designed a special invite that would serve to deliver the script but also leave a lasting impression, whether they could attend the reading or not.
